With an educational background in chemical engineering and a proven track record in the bunkering industry, Claudia has a wide experience on alternative fuels.

The maritime journey started back in 2011 as business development manager for Certified Bunker Measurement Solutions and Fuel Measurements in Emerson. From day one in this industry, Claudia started to grow a passion for LNG, its fossil free alternatives and other low carbon fuels, which connected seamless with her analytical background in gas and water analysis.

The next step into the LNG world, brought Claudia to Wärtsilä Gas Solutions, building and expanding her knowledge on LNG cargo handling systems and biogas/bioLNG production.

To compliment her maritime journey, she started back in 2021 as a Global Account Manager for the VT Group, where besides the global commercial responsibility, she was also in the lead for developing and driving the VT sustainability strategy to enable transport and bunkering of alternative fuels.

Besides her regular job, Claudia has always been active in several associations, from SGMF in 2014 and again today, to the NEN working group (methanol bunkering standard) and since April 2023, as a board member for IBIA (The International Bunker Industry Association).

After all of these roles in the maritime industry, on the 7^th of December 2023, Claudia established C4 fuel to support maritime stakeholders understanding and embracing the changes in the maritime industry, by providing training and advise on future fuels and Mass Flow Meters, using her real life experience and understanding of the dynamic marine fuels industry.
