Bunker Barge Day: Learning by Doing in Vlaardingen
Under sunny skies, students suit up for hands-on training with C4 Fuel and partners in the Bunker Experience Course
It was bunker barge day on the Bunker Experience Course in Vlaardingen. Al lovely sunny day and a good reason to get all dressed up in safety gear after a morning in the classroom. C4 fuel is one of the longstanding trainers for this unique bunker training and together with Ship.Energy, Oiltraining BV, Bureau Veritas and the VT Group they teach the students all the dynamics of bunkering.

Mastering Mass Flow Meters: Preparing for the New Bunkering Standard
IBIA and C4 Fuel host MFM training in Rotterdam and Antwerp to equip surveyors ahead of the 2026 mandate
On the 14th of May, IBIA and C4 fuel will be offering a dedicated Mass Flow Meter
(MFM) training for surveyors. During this interactive day, surveyors learn all about the upcoming mandate in Rotterdam and Antwerp-Bruges, but will also gain an extensive insight in how MFM will shape the daily work of everyone involved.

Shaping the Future of Clean Shipping: LNG Bunkering & Global Decarbonisation Summit 2025
Industry leaders gather in Amsterdam to tackle compliance challenges, innovation hurdles, and safety in a multifuel maritime future
From the 6th to the 8th of May, the 12th and the biggest to date edition of the LNG Bunkering Summit/ Global Decarbonisation Summit will take place in Amsterdam.Coming at a critical point for the industry with non-compliance starting to have a monetary cost in 2025, and uncertainty around what this cost might be, there is much to discuss on the speed of innovation and fleet diversity in 2025 and beyond. On behalf of SGMF, Claudia Beumer will be chair of the day for the first day of this leading event and in addition, SGMF will be hosting a workshop on the 6th of May concerning safety aspects of a multifuel future.
